TRAFFIC NETWORK

Cacak region has a favourable traffic an geographical possition. It connects West South West and Central Serbia (Sumadija). Both Belgrade – Cacak – Uzice, Zlatibor – Montenegro main high-way and Pozega-Stalac railway line, influence industrial and cultural development of the region. Other main roads also pass through the region, so the town itself can easily be reached from any direction.

From the From the Serbian capital city of Belgrade, one can reach Cacak by “Ibarska magistrala”, thus passing through mountinious Sumadija and Rudnik and going further to the south towards Kraljevo Pristina, Skoplje. From Preljina one travels towards Cacak, Uzice, Zlatibor and eventually to Montenegro seaside. From Mrcajevci “Ibarska magistrala” part leads via Knic and Gruzansko jezero toward Kragujevac and Sumadija. Via Jelica one can reach Dragacevo, Stari Vlah and Raska.

The West Morava river follos the line the of standard ganged railway track that is connected to Belgrade – Bar railway in Pozega and to Beograd-Bar railway track in Stalac. The rapid developmentin tourism and industry resulted in crowded traffic network. The traffic dynamism is also noticable in postal, telephone and telegraphic well – organinized services.
